How much fresh water can Reclaim Gen2 help reduce?
Reclaim Gen2 is designed to significantly reduce fresh water consumption by maximizing the use of reclaim water throughout the wash. Where can reclaim water be used?
Reclaim water is commonly used in the early stages of the wash, including applications such as underbody, wheel blasters, belt flushing, trench flushing, and other wash functions where spot-free water isn’t required. We’ll help determine the best reclaim water applications based on your wash design and operating goals.
Can Reclaim Gen2 replace my existing reclaim system?
In many cases, yes. Reclaim Gen2 is designed for both new installations and retrofit applications. We’ll review your existing reclaim system, equipment, and operating requirements to determine the best approach for your wash.
How is the reclaim water treated?
Reclaim Gen2 continuously treats reclaim water through operator-adjustable chemical dosing to help maintain water quality throughout the system. Optional nanobubble integration is also available to further improve water quality while helping reduce odors and biofilm.
What maintenance does Reclaim Gen2 require?
Reclaim Gen2 is designed to minimize routine maintenance. The integrated Grundfos SEG grinder pump eliminates the need for daily strainer basket cleaning, reducing operator involvement. Periodic maintenance includes routine system inspections, grinder pump oil changes, and filter media replacement based on operating conditions.
