Pump will not run #

Problem
- No 3 phase power to pump
Solution
- Check pump has constant voltage, check any breakers, disconnect switches, and/ or fuses installed in electrical system

Problem
- Incorrect 3 phase voltage supplied to pump
Solution
- Check that the supplied 3 phase voltage matches the pump

Problem
- Pump not in “run”
Solution
- Press power button on screen (lower left button

Problem
- Defective pump/motor
Solution
- Replace pump/motor

Problem
- Relay in dispenseIT control box not energized
Solution
- Verify relay for function energized when function in tunnel controller is on. The LED on relay should be on. The voltage on A1 and A2 of relay should match system control voltage

Pump leaks water #

Problem
- Not enough thread tape/ pipe sealant
Solution
- Install new thread tape/ pipe sealant

Problem
- Loose pipe thread fittings
Solution
- Tighten the fittings

Problem
- Loose flange bolts
Solution
- Tighten the flange bolts

Problem
- Bad flange gaskets
Solution
- Replace the old gaskets with new gaskets

Problem
- Failed pump seals
Solution
- Replace/ repair pump seals

Low water pressure on system #

Problem
- Pump not running
Solution
- Check above items

Problem
- Pump setpoint too low
Solution
- Raise pump set point to desired pressure

Problem
- Insufficient water supply to pump
Solution
- Check water supply to pump

Problem
- Pump not primed
Solution
- Follow pump priming instructions

Problem
- Motor rotation is incorrect
Solution
- Verify the motor rotation

Problem
- Defective Pump
Solution
- Replace pump

Problem
- Defective gauge on system
Solution
- Compare gauge reading to pressure on pump screen, replace gauge. If needed replace the guage.

Problem
- Defective transducer on pump
Solution
- Consult Grundfos factory technical support

Injector not drawing chemical #

Problem
- Clogged chemical feed line from chemical barrel
Solution
- Check hose for clogs, foot valve, metering tips and injector barb

Problem
- Too much back pressure on injector
Solution
- Check for clogged lines or nozzles on applicator arch, install smaller injector

Problem
- Clogged injector
Solution
- Rinse the injector off with hot water with compressed air blow air through the following:
  - Injector chemical hose barb
  - Injector nozzle
- Remove the injector nozzle; clean and reassemble (allen key required to remove injector)

Injector draws chemical for a brief moment #

Problem
- Injector is too large
Solution
- Install a smaller injector
- Install larger spray nozzles on the applicator
- Install more spray nozzles on the applicator

Problem
- Too much back pressure on injector
Solution
- Check for clogged lines or nozzles on applicator arch, install smaller injector

Injector has a low but consistent vacuum chemical draw #

Problem
- Injector is too small
Solution
- Install a larger injector
- Install smaller spray nozzles on the applicator
- Remove spray nozzles from the applicator

No water flow through injectors #

Problem
- Manifold solenoid isolation ball valve closed
Solution
- Open the ball valve and verify water flow through the solenoid to the injector

Problem
- Debris in solenoid
Solution
- Check there is the correct voltage to the coil of the solenoid.
  - Isolate solenoid
  - Disassemble solenoid and check for debris
  - Clean as necessary
  - Reassemble solenoid

Problem
- Faulty solenoid
Solution
- Rinse the injector off with hot water with compressed air blow air through the following:
  - Injector chemical hose barb
  - Injector nozzle
- Remove the injector nozzle; clean and reassemble (allen key required to remove injector)

Water flows to applicator nonstop #

Problem
- Function is energized
Solution
- Check tunnel controller for overrides and stuck relays

Problem
- Debris in solenoid
Solution
- Isolate the functions solenoid using the ball valve.
- Follow the directions for solenoid valve disassembly, check the valve for debris or worn parts

Problem
- Faulty solenoid
Solution
- Install repair kit in solenoid or replace solenoid
